EAFF Women's East Asian Cup 2013 Preliminary Competition Round 2 Dear All families of the East Asian Football Federation, I am very pleased to join you at this 4th EAFF Women's competition. The EAFF was established not only for teams to take part in these competitions, but also for joining hands in solidarity of the federation. Also, this year marks the 10th anniversary of its founding. I would like to express my appreciation once again to all the member associations for all their noble efforts. Also, on behalf of the East Asian Football Federation, I wish to pay my utmost respect to the Chinese Football Association, the Shenzhen Football Association for their leadership in hosting the second round of the women's competition and their hard work. It will be very exciting that the second round of the women's competition to be held in Shenzhen, which has achieved a high level of economic growth, and is especially very supportive of women's football. Recently, Asian women's football has developed rapidly. This is supported by many excellent results that we have seen. I believe that this is what drives the women's competition, and the EAFF will continue to spare its effort in supporting the development of women’s and youth football. The Australian women's national team will be participating in the second round of the women's competition for the first time. I think that it could give a welcome boost to the other teams. Also, I hope football fans from all over the world will enjoy the competition. I would like to end by thanking the Chinese Football Association, the Shenzhen Football Association and everyone involved. Furthermore, I hope to meet you at the final round that is going to be held in Korea Republic in 2013. Chung Yun CHO Vice President and General Secretary Chinese Football Association's message Dear friends, Wei Di |
