Day six of the EAFF E-1 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 FINAL JAPAN took place July 27 at Toyota Stadium in Aichi Prefecture in Japan. The first match pitted China PR against Hong Kong.
China PR had an excellent corner kick in the 12th minute. JIANG SHENGLONG tried to head the ball into the net, but Hong Kong defender LEUNG KWUN CHUNG made the stop.
China PR and Hong Kong continued to press their respective attacks. In the 25th minute, WONG WAI took a corner kick from outside to the penalty area, but China PR goalkeeper HAN JIAQI was able to shut down the attack.
In the 30th minute, Hong Kong goalkeeper CHAN KA HO made another excellent save against China PR player JIANG GUANGTAI.
In the 44th minute, Hong Kong's MATTHEW ELLIOT WING KAI ORR took two shots in front of the goal, but both went wide. 1 minute later, Hong Kong's VASUDEVA DAS LILLEY NUNEZ's header off a corner kick went over the crossbar.

The two teams kept up the pace in the second half. In the 55th minute, Hong Kong player TAN CHUN LOK received a pass in the penalty area, but was unable to capitalize.
Hong Kong's fatal error came in the 67th minute during a ball-clearing attempt. The ball hit a China PR player and bounced to TAN LONG, whose follow-up shot put China PR on the board 1-0.
Hong Kong had a great chance in the penalty area in the 85th minute. China PR's defense had a moment of sudden confusion, but Hong Kong was once again unable to take advantage.
Hong Kong won another corner kick during additional time, but confusion broke out again after the ball went into the penalty area. Hong Kong's MATTHEW ELLIOT WING KAI ORR attempted a shot, but HAN JIAQI made another save. CHENG SIU KWAN picked up the rebound, but his shot went off the right goalpost.
At the final whistle, China PR had won a narrow 1-0 victory over Hong Kong.
