Hong Kong Women’s Representative Team met up against group-host Uzbekistan on Tuesday in Lokomotiv Stadium, Tashkent, Uzbekistan for the its final fixture in the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament 2020 Qualifiers Round 2 Group B. A hat-trick performance by Sarikova Makhliyo, plus goals from Karachik Lyudmila, saw Hong Kong dropping a 5:1 decision against the group-host.
Hong Kong came up with a great scoring chance to open the score on the 14th minute, as Ho Mui-mei spotted a surging Chan Wing-sze nearly the left wing and delivered a great pass to the Hong Kong skipper. Chan unloaded but saw her shot ringing off the Uzbekistan crossbar and staying out of the net.
On the 21st minute, Hong Kong was at it once again. This time, Ho Mui-mei collected the ball from Cheung Wai-ki but smashed her shot over the Uzbekistan crossbar......
