The pandemic that has hit Hong Kong in recent months and many football activities need to be postponed, yet the Hong Kong Football Association has provided different online football programmes for different coaches and players. The Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) collaborated with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to organize an online programme titled “Football for Friendship”.
More than two-hundred boys and girls participated in the engaging online activities to further promote cultural and knowledge exchange between coaches and young players from both Hong Kong and Malaysia.
There are four lessons in online programme. With the aim to use football as a medium to connect children between Hong Kong and Malaysia, coaches of two places taught about the football culture and knowledge to the U10 and U12 young girls' development / national teams and the boys' district team players, shared their lives under the pandemic through online as well as to improve techniques by using the Train Effective App to help local young players to maintain their enthusiasm and continuous improvement during the shutdown period so that they are well prepared when training resumes. .....
