Kobe: Japan international Kyogo Furuhashi is set to sign for Scottish Premiership side Celtic, 2020 AFC Champions League semi-finalists Vissel Kobe announced on Friday.
The 26-year-old will join former Australia and Yokohama F Marinos coach Ange Postecoglou at the Glasgow club, subject to a successful medical, as they attempt to reclaim the league title lost to bitter rivals Rangers last season.
Furuhashi will be the latest Japanese player to sign for Celtic and will follow in the footsteps of Shunsuke Nakamura and Koki Mizuno when he pulls on the famous green-and-white hooped shirt. .....
