Manchester: Australian women’s national team star Hayley Raso has put pen to paper with FA Women’s Super League giants Manchester City, while Japanese international Yui Hasegawa has joined West Ham United.
Raso, 26, joins Manchester City on a two-year deal, having spent the last 18 months with Everton, while Hasegawa, 24, has also signed on for two seasons.
Also sealing a move on Wednesday was Japanese midfield dynamo Hasegawa, whose contract with West Ham will bring her into the English league system for the first time.
An AFC Women’s Asian Cup winner in 2018 and a five-time league winner in Japan with Nippon TV Beleza, she had her first taste of European club football in a successful stint with Italian powerhouse AC Milan last season. .....
