Hong Kong faced off against Nepal in Jar Stadium, Uzbekistan on Tuesday for an AFC Women's Asian Cup India 2022 Qualifiers Group F fixture. Hong Kong fought hard against Nepal throughout ninety minutes but failed to unlock the opponent’s defense. At the end, Hong Kong shook hands with Nepal on a 0:0 draw.
Hong Kong started the game with Chung Pui-ki wearing the captain’s armband. Up-and-comers such as Tsang Pak-tung, Halasan Tsang and Wu Choi-yiu all claimed starting spots in the first eleven, with young gun Limbu Sneha leading the line up-front. However, Hong Kong failed to produce any serious threat towards the Nepalese goal and had to settle for a 0:0 draw after the first forty-five minutes.
In the second half, the match was more or less the same, with both sides failing to score the elusive goal to break the stalemate. At the end, the match wrapped up in a 0:0 draw. .....
