Singapore: Newly crowned Singapore Premier League champions Lion City Sailors have clinched the signing of two-time AFC Champions League winner Kim Shin-wook from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
The Sailors, who pipped Albirex Niigata (S) to the Singapore title in October, announced the capture of the 33-year-old on Monday ahead of the club’s appearance in the group phase of the AFC Champions League next year.
“The Sailors project is an ambitious one that is fast gaining momentum,” Kim told the club’s official website. “I was presented with the vision that got the club to this point, as well as what’s in the pipeline for the years ahead, and I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it. .....
