Seoul: Korea Republic have outlined the next step of their AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 preparation, with 23 domestic-based players called up for a training camp by head coach Colin Bell on Monday.
The late December camp, which falls outside of a FIFA international window, will be held without European-based stars Ji So-yun, Cho So-hyun and Lee Geum-min, who will remain with their respective clubs until the continental Finals begin in January.
Korea Republic have been drawn alongside Japan, Vietnam, and Myanmar in a highly competitive Group C at the Asian showpiece, with their campaign to begin against Vietnam in Pune on January 21. .....
