Pune: Korea Republic will head into the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ quarter-final against Australia on Sunday with no room for complacency, captain Kim Hye-ri has pledged as the East Asian side look to book their ticket to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Besides confirming a fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup appearance, Kim also wants to lift the AFC Women's Asian Cup trophy for the first time.
After a Group B campaign that saw them stay undefeated to finish runners-up behind defending champions Japan on goal difference, Kim is now more than ready to bring the fight to the Australians at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex. .....
