Murcia: Japan had to concede to England's superiority as they suffered a 4-0 defeat in an international women's friendly at the Pinetar Arena in Murcia, Spain on Friday.
Reigning European champions England were always in control as they stretched their unbeaten run to 25 matches.
England took the lead in the 38th minute through Rachel Daly.
There was to be no come back for Japan with Chloe Kelly (53rd), Ella Toone (77th) and Jess Park (90+1) completing the emphatic win for England.
Japan, preparing for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia/New Zealand 2023, play Spain on Tuesday.
