中國香港足球總會宣佈與泰國足球總會達成協議，香港代表隊將於6月19日主場迎戰泰國國家隊。比賽詳情將於稍後公佈。
香港代表隊主教練安達臣表示：「我們在亞洲盃決賽周將會對戰實力強勁的對手，所以我們必須約戰一些具實力的球隊，讓球隊習慣亞洲頂級賽事的高強度比賽節奏，以達致備戰效果。我們最著重的是透過比賽經驗，讓球隊持續進步。感謝球迷在港隊主場對新加坡的比賽時全力吶喊助威，希望在6月面對更強勁的對手時，球迷會繼續支持我們！」
