Kuala Lumpur: Only months after the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s match officials are now ready to represent the Continent on the biggest stage in women’s football with five women referees from Asia being selected to officiate at the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
Korea Republic’s Oh Heong-jeong, who earned her FIFA badge in 2015, is set to make her mark on the biggest stage in women’s football as she gears up to make her debut at the FIFA Women’s World Cup next month, where she will be joined by compatriot Kim Oh-jeong, Australians Casey Reibelt and Kate Jacewicz and Japan’s Yoshimi Yamashita.
