Ahead of elections at the 5th EAFF Extraordinary Congress on 31 October in Doha, Qatar, the call for candidates for the elections of the EAFF President and the AFC Executive Committee Member representing the EAFF have been sent to EAFF Member Associations (MAs).

In accordance with applicable EAFF Statutes, the positions for which the elections will be held during the 5th EAFF Extraordinary Congress are:
・EAFF President for the remaining term until 2026
・AFC Executive Committee Member representing the EAFF for the term 2023-2027

The nomination forms and documents for the election of the EAFF President and the AFC Executive Committee Member representing the EAFF were delivered to MAs in accordance with the EAFF Statutes and the Electoral Code.

The list of all confirmed candidates for each position will be communicated to the MAs and published on the EAFF website 30 days prior to the Extraordinary Congress.

The electoral period will end at the 5th EAFF Extraordinary Congress with the elections completed for the EAFF President and the AFC Executive Committee Member representing the EAFF.
