Hangzhou: Defending champions Japan and China PR kicked off their Hangzhou Asian Games women's football campaigns in emphatic fashion on Friday.
Japan defeated Bangladesh 8-0 while China PR cruised 16-0 past Mongolia.
Defending champions Japan were unstoppable in their women's football Group D opener as they cruised to an 8-0 win over Bangladesh while Vietnam defeated Nepal 2-0.
Three-time gold medallists China PR were equally dominant in their 16-0 win over Mongolia, with Wang Shuang netting five goals and Wang Shanshan contributing a hat-trick in their Group A opener. .....
