Futoshi Ikeda (Japan)
A former Urawa Red Diamonds defender, Ikeda retired early to transition to coaching, firstly in the youth set-up at Reds, before another backroom staff role followed at J.League side Avispa Fukuoka.
His first journey into the international arena was met with almost immediate success, as he piloted Japan to glory at the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2018.
