The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) held its 78th Executive Committee Meeting in Tokyo, Japan on 30 March 2025.

The matters discussed and approved were as follows.

(1) The minutes from the 77th EAFF Executive Committee Meeting conducted in Hong Kong, China on 17 December 2024, was approved.
(2) Statement of Accounts and Auditor’s Report for the fiscal year 2024 was approved.
(3) The Appointment of external Independent Auditors for fiscal year 2025 was approved.
(4) Competition Calendar 2025 was approved.
(5) Ms. Tai, Hsia-Ling was approved to be the co-opted Executive Committee Member representing Chinese Taipei Football Association.
(6) Replacement of the EAFF Standing Committee Members were approved.
(7) Amendment proposed in the EAFF Statutes was approved.
(8) Organising 6th EAFF Extraordinary Congress 2025 on 15 July 2025 was approved.
(9) Competition Regulations for EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2025 Final Korea Republic were ratified.
(10) Updates on preparation for EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2025 Final Korea Republic were reported.
(11) Renewal of the Partnership with the ASEAN Football Federation through the AFF-EAFF Joint meeting was reported.
(12) EAFF Executive Committee unanimously agreed on a donation of 10,000USD for the Myanmar Football Federation, which was struck by a major earthquake on 28 March 2025.


At the end of the meeting, EAFF President Mr. TASHIMA Kohzo and EAFF Vice-President, Mr. CHUN Hanjin expressed their intention for resignation from their respective positions.
Mr. CHUNG Mong Gyu was appointed as the EAFF President Ad-Interim.
