The EAFF Quiz Management Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") sets forth the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy") regarding the handling of personal information in the service provided by this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

After obtaining consent, the Company may acquire personal information to the extent required for the Company’s business operations.

The Company shall specify the purposes for which acquired personal information will be used and shall take measures to limit the use of said personal information to within the scope of the indicated purposes. The Company will collect and use personal information for following purposes:

・ User names and profile images will be gathered and displayed. This is necessary to manage the Passion Points required for EAFF trivia quizzes and prizes;
・ Answering inquiries from users (including identity verification);
・ Identifying users who violate the terms of use or who intend to use the Service for fraudulent or unreasonable purposes, for the purpose of refusing them use of the Service, and;
・ For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

The Company shall implement safety management measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, destruction, falsification, and/or leakage of personal information. In the event that an unexpected risk to personal information becomes apparent, the Company shall promptly take preventive (corrective) measures.

In the event that a user’s personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request the Company to correct, add, and/or delete the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") according to the procedure set forth by the Company.

When the Company has received a request set forth in the preceding paragraph from a user and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, it shall immediately make corrections, etc. to the relevant personal information.

The Company will notify the user immediately when it has made corrections, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when it has decided not to make corrections, etc.

The Company shall immediately investigate in the event that it is requested by a user to suspend the use of or delete his/her personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") for reasons such as that the relevant personal information is being used beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it was acquired through inappropriate means.

The Company shall suspend the use, etc. of the indicated personal information without delay in the event that, based on the investigation set forth in the preceding paragraph, it has determined that it is necessary to comply with the request.

The Company will immediately notify the user when it has suspended using the indicated personal information, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or when it has decided not to suspend use, etc.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, in the case that the suspension, etc. will cost a large amount of money or if it will be difficult to suspend use, etc. for any other reason, and when the Company is able to implement alternative measures to protect the rights and interests of the user, it shall implement those alternative measures.

The contents of the Privacy Policy may be modified without notifying users, except for matters otherwise specified by law or in the Privacy Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the modified privacy policy shall take effect from the time it appears on this website.
