Hong Kong Under-21 Representative Team suffered a tough 0:4 defeat against Uzbekistan U-21 on the second match day of the FAS U-21 International Challenge Cup. The defeat saw Hong Kong U-21 finished as the 3rd Runner-up of the tournament.

Hong Kong U-21 got off to a horrible start on the 3rd minute, when Yu Pui-hong was sent off by the referee after the latter detected a serious foul from the Hong Kong U-21 defender.

Hong Kong U-21 fell behind on the 12th minute, when an Uzbekistan U-21 player whipped in a dangerous cross from the right side. Hong Kong U-21 defenders failed to clear the ball away effectively and saw it fell in front of Nurulloev Sukhrob. The Uzbekistan U-21 player unleashed a wicked shot that beat Hong Kong U-21 keeper Li Yat-chun and soared into the net.
