Korea Football Association (KFA) has received the highest grade in an Asian Football Confederation (AFC) project to promote elite youth football with a view to further develop the game in Asia.
According to an official letter from the Asian football’s governing body, the KFA has gained a three-star full membership in the AFC Elite Youth Scheme with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC Academy also earning a three-star rating in the evaluation of their youth academy.
Launched in 2019, the AFC Elite Youth Scheme has evaluated its Member Associations through eleven categories of elite youth development - Staff, Plans, Competition, Coaches, Talent Identification, Medical Services, Sports Science, Education & Welfare, Facilities, Philosophy and Academies - to grant membership and support their programmes......
