Kuala Lumpur: The Philippines women’s national team reached their highest-ever FIFA Ranking of 53, following the latest ranking released on Friday.
After their success at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup™ India 2022 that saw them qualify for their first FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Philippines bagged the recent Hanoi SEA Games bronze medal by beating Myanmar.
DPR Korea, meanwhile, remain Asia’s best ranked team in 10th spot, followed by Australia and Japan, whose positions remained unchanged at 12th and 13th. .....
