Tashkent: China PR’s mental presence was key to their 2-0 victory against Saudi Arabia on Matchday Two of the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2023 on Monday, according to head coach Antonio Puche.
Team Dragon bounced back from a 2-1 opening match defeat to Japan and produced an exemplary performance to down the reigning champions and resurrect their hopes of reaching the quarter-finals ahead of their final group game against Kyrgyz Republic.
“Today I’m very happy for my players because they are working 100% every day,” said Puche. “They are fantastic workers and today they had a presence. The last game against Japan I thought we played very well but we didn’t have that presence, but today we were fantastic. .....
