After a goalless half-hour at Thuwunna Stadium, DPR Korea netted three times in the next eight minutes with Jong opening the scoring, before Choe Ju-song from the penalty spot and then Han Kwang-song both found the target to leave Myanmar a mountain to climb at half-time.
Jong had his second less than 10 minutes after the restart before he completed his treble on 56 minutes. Ri Hyong-jin completed the hosts’ scoring at six with a stunning 70th minute strike from range as DPR Korea eased to all three points despite Win Naing Tun netting a late consolation. .....
