Korea Republic men’s national team had to settle for a point against Palestine in their final match of this year.

Hong Myungbo’s charges drew 1-1 with Palestine in their sixth Group B game in the third round of the Asian Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup staged at Amman International Stadium in Jordan on Tuesday. Son Heungmin cancelled out the hosts’ early opener, although the Taegeuk Warriors could not translate their dominance into grabbing all three points.

Having defeated Kuwait 3-1 on Thursday, Korea Republic rounded off their trip to the Middle East with a win and a draw consolidating their lead on top of Group B with 14 points. With only four matches remaining in the third round, the Taegeuk Warriors will resume their campaign in March next year as they take on Oman and Jordan at home. .....
