Korea Republic men’s and women’s national teams are taking part in a series of friendly matches in September, with the U-23 side set to make a home debut at the end of the month.
Paulo Bento’s charges will face Costa Rica in Goyang on 23 September, before taking on Cameroon in Seoul four days later. Both games are scheduled kick off at 8pm.
Costa Rica and Cameroon have qualified for the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar this year. Currently ranked at 34th – six steps behind Korea Republic – in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking, Costa Rica have claimed their place in the world finals for the third time in a row since Brazil 2014. Cameroon, ranked at 38th, will be participating in their eighth finals at Qatar 2022. .....
