Korea Republic men’s U-23 national team breezed past the United Arab Emirates in style.

An Jaejun (Bucheon FC) and Paik Sanghoon (FC Seoul) struck in each half as Hwang Sunhong’s charges defeated UAE 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in Dubai on Monday, to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat in the opening game last week.

Having deployed completely different sides in each half of the first match, Hwang opted for the best players at his disposal in the starting XI for the second encounter with the hosts. K League 1 starlets Yang Hyunjun (Gangwon FC) and Kang Sungjin (FC Seoul) started on the flanks, with Pohang Steelers’ Goh Youngjoon leading the attack alongside An Jaejun up front. .....
